Product documentation and handling
Ask our team for the information relevant to the material, intended activity and batch reference. The actual analytical document, its scope and batch association must be checked for the specific item.
Before assessing a material
Confirm the material identity and stated specification. Ask for available analytical documentation, the issuing laboratory and reported tests, and whether the batch reference matches the item.
Handling and storage
Use the storage conditions stated on the product label and the accompanying manufacturer or laboratory documentation. Temperature, shelf life and solution stability depend on the specific material and formulation; request the instructions relevant to the material and batch before assessing its use.
General laboratory handling for lyophilized peptides
- Keep the vial tightly closed and protect it from moisture, bright light and unnecessary heat exposure.
- Minimize repeated opening. For material stored cold, allow the sealed vial to reach the temperature specified by your laboratory procedure before opening to reduce condensation.
- Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles where frozen storage is specified. Follow the applicable laboratory procedure for aliquoting.
- Keep the compound name and batch reference with the material and its documentation.
These are general handling precautions, not a temperature or expiry specification for our products. Follow item-specific instructions for liquid products, diluents and accessories. GenScript's peptide handling guidance provides a supplier reference for lyophilized peptides; it does not establish the storage history or specifications of a Pure Peptides item.
Reading the testing details
The matching COA should identify the issuing laboratory, sample or batch reference, test date, methods and reported results. HPLC, mass spectrometry or other tests are relevant only when actually reported for that sample. Ask our team for the available document and clarification of any missing information. Laboratory identity and accreditation must be checked from the actual report and issuer; there is no single laboratory or test panel implied for every product.
Existing shipment records
For a question about an existing shipment, retain the packaging and relevant references. Use shipment support or tracking, and contact the team about missing or inconsistent information.
